Empowering Women in Tech — Introducing the Helsing x ada Fellowship
Helsing is the driving force behind AI and software innovation in European defence. Guided by our innate conviction that diversity and equity are paramount in the design, development, and distribution of new technologies, we are proud to sponsor the Helsing x ada Fellowship , a one-year part-time programme dedicated to empowering female technologists and entrepreneurs. The programme aligns with Helsing’s commitment to creating an inclusive work environment and supporting women in achieving their full potential in the software and defence industries.
The ada Fellowship
Technology is advancing, workplace demands are changing, and customer needs are evolving at an increasingly rapid pace. Ada fellows tackle these challenges head-on. This one-year programme is completed alongside fellows’ existing full-time role to equip individuals and teams with future-focused skills. The programme offers a three-pronged approach: Access to high-quality knowledge (Learn), systematic networking in the cross-industry network of all partners (Meet), and implementation for real innovation in the organisation (Apply).

What we offer
- Helsing sponsors the full cost of a one-year ada Fellowship for one individual starting in May 2024.
- Mentorship and support. In parallel to the core ada Fellowship programme, each fellow is paired with a Helsing mentor, ensuring personalised guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the programme.
Who can apply?
The Helsing x ada Fellowship is available to women and non-binary individuals with a passion for technology and innovation. Preference is given to candidates who have just started or are about to start their professional careers. We are looking for high energy individuals interested in growing their skill sets and building networks with the goal of making significant contributions to the European tech ecosystem.
Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged, especially those underrepresented in technology.
